About the Role

Handle patent applications, responses to examination opinions, and maintenance. Provide comprehensive patent protection and strategic advice to support innovative businesses.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with inventors to understand inventions and technical solutions.
• Prepare high-quality patent application documents, including specifications and claims.
• Respond professionally to patent office examination opinions.
• Guide clients through subsequent examination and grant procedures.
• Manage patent maintenance and provide patent strategy advice.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above; science, engineering, or law preferred.
• Patent agent practicing certificate or patent application experience.
• Familiarity with patent legislation and CNIPA examination rules.
• Technical analysis and legal writing skills.
• Strong communication, coordination, and client-service skills.
• Proficiency with large language models such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude; demonstrated results are preferred.
